This week our Reading Street story is all about Alexander Graham Bell! We will be learning about his great ideas as an inventor! While studying about Alexander Graham Bell, we will be focusing on "aw" words with "aw" and "au". I will put our spelling words at the bottom of this email.
In Math we will be learning about more addition strategies. We will also take our End of the Year Math Assessment this week!
Our caterpillars were delivered after school on Friday! We will be watching their amazing transformation over the next couple of weeks! :) We will also continue to learn about plants -- and hopefully plant our beans in the Willett garden this week (rain rain go away!!!).
Tomorrow is our special Pasta Lunch! If your student does not want pasta, he/she may buy lunch from Willett or bring his/her own lunch from home. Drinks are not provided. Please send your student in with a beverage for lunch. We will be eating in our classroom tomorrow, not in the lunch room.
Our homework is a reading log and a fluency page. On the back of the fluency page is a "Tippy Toe Chick Go worksheet." This does not need to be completed; however the Book of the Week does need to be completed.
June 4th is Willett's UNO's Dough Raiser! Portions of money spent at UNO's will be donated to Willett! :) Yummy!!!!
