This week we have a lot of learning to do... :)
In Reading we will read the story Where Are My Animal Friends? and learn all about how some animals hibernate in the winter. Where Are My Animal Friends? is a play with many animal characters! With this text, we will continue to discuss sequencing a story and use our prior knowledge to predict and make connections with the story. Our phonics skills this week will be the comparative endings -er and -est and how "dge" say "j!" Another rule breaker!
In Writing we will write about what our favorite season is after discussing what each season is like here in Attleboro!
In Math we will continue to focus on place place, but we will also learn about Number Collection Boxes, which are a fun way to write one numner many different ways! For example 15 can be 3 nickles, 10+3+2, 15 tally marks, 15 circles, etc.
