*Some children chose to take their plants home instead of planting them in the garden.
Today, with the help of Mrs. Gattoni, we planted cucumbers and pumpkins in the Willett garden. These plants were started in our classroom and were ready to be transplanted before the weekend! If you come to Family Fun Day tomorrow, be sure to check out our plants!

Thank you Mrs. Jones for letting us borrow the computer lab to use a BBC Science Clip. We loved making shadows grow in size using a digital simulation! The link is included below in a separate post if you would like to use it at home.
Each group was able to successfully write an algorithm to get to the light switch and turn it on! Great work!!!
Hello,
I have created a quick survey for parents about classroom communication in order to improve/change my communication with parents for the next school year. Please complete the short survey about how I communicated with parents this year so that I know what worked well and what could be modified. I truly appreciate you taking the time to complete this! The link is: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/PK92MWK Thank you again, Kelsey Bower Hello,
I am still looking for a few more chaperones for our field trip to Capron Park. This is a walking field trip, so adult supervision is key. Currently we only have two chaperones who have volunteered. Our field trip is Thursday, June 1st. We will leave Willett at 9:15 and walk to Capron Park Zoo. The zoo opens at 10:00am. At that point we will enter the zoo and check out the exhibits! Our plan is to return to Willett by 12:30 and eat lunch by the garden. This is such a fun and exciting field trip for students and it is so successful because of the parents who come with us! If you are available and already have a CORI on file with Willett, please consider joining us at the zoo! :) Thank you, Mrs. Bower |
